Dan Fichter owns and operates Wannagetfast Power/Speed Training, a performance training business in the Upstate NY area that offers training to elite athletes. Fichter's clients have included pro hockey players Rory Fitzpatrick (Buffalo Sabres) Chris Thorburn (Atlanta Thrashers), Stanley Cup champion Brian Gionta (Montreal Canadians), runner up Hoby Baker Award winner Chris Collins (Pittsburgh Penguins), Kevin Montgomery (Edmonton Oilers) Ryan Callahan (NY Rangers, US Olympic Team) and Olympic track and field star Victoriya Rybalko from the Ukraine. She is currently ranked 10th in the world in the long jump. UFC fighter Mike Massenzio, and the San Diego Padres 2nd baseman Andy Parrino along with Notre Dame pitcher Brian Dupra are among the most notable athletes You will find training at The Pit, a specially designed facility for athletes in upstate NY. 

Dan has coached athletes in all sports from all over the country: Duke, Edinboro, St Francis, Albany,  James Madison, Syracuse, St Bonaventure, Siena, Boston University, Brown, Pittsburgh, Louisville, Loyola, Connecticut, U Mass, Notre Dame, Boston College, Holy Cross, Cornell, Air Force, Maine,  New Hampshire, Colgate, Virginia, Lemoyne, Mercyhurst, Stone Hill, Bentley, Penn, Army,  John Caroll, Ithaca, Maryland and Albany.     

Fichter has traveled the country speaking to numerous coaches on speed training, strength training, and nervous system development and how to pull these elements into a comprehensive package that can substantially elevate an athlete’s speed and strength and be devastating to opponents. Uniquely, Fichter's system attacks the athlete at the individual specific level (SBN-Specific body needs) unlike most programs that offer the cookie cutter approach.

Dan has coached football at the high school and college level for over 15 years and is currently the Defensive Coordinator at McQuaid High School in Rochester NY.

Chris Korfist 

Chris Korfist started out as a Graduate Assistant at Northern Illinois University in the Strength and Conditioning Program. He then went on to a suburban Chicago high school, Hinsdale Central, where he took over the strength and conditioning program. He also was an assistant varsity football coach as well as the sprint coach for the boys track team. During his 12 years as a football coach, he helped 27 student-athletes go on to play Division 1 football. He also coached 9 All-State Football players. In the last 5 years in football, his teams have complied an overall record of 46-8.

As a track coach, his sprint relays qualified for the state meet every year since 2000. During his track coaching career, he has coached 17 all-state sprint relay teams with bests in the 4x100 of 41.69, 4x200 of 1:26.06 FAT and a 3:17.86 in the 4x400, some of which are the fastest times in the history of Illinois track and field. While currently the sprint coach at York HS in Elmhurst IL, Chris runs Slow Guy Speed School. His clients include 25 All-state athletes, 9 All-Americans and has worked with 6 Olympians and 1 World Champion.

Nick has been in the WGF family since 2006 first as an athlete and currently as a trainer and mentor to young athletes. Upon the completion of his college career Nick made a run at the NFL/CFL leagues through prospect camps and individual pro-days. He also plans on making another run at those events next off-season. *Scored the first touchdown for Webster Thomas as a varsity program with a kickoff return for 93 yards against Franklin as a 9th grader

*had a 38-4 record going into the state championship game his senior year

College Career:

*Played college football at Edinboro University of PA

*Was a three-year starter there one year as a nickel back on defense and two years at slot receiver

* As a junior Edinboro football went to the DII Playoffs and finished there season in a shootout with West Liberty 84-64, this barn burner was under quarterback Trevor Harris who spent some time with the Jacksonville Jaguars and currently plays in Toronto Canada for the Argonauts
