Dan Fichter: Owner

Dan Fichter owns and operates WannaGetFast Power/Speed Training, a sports performance training business in Rochester, NY and Tampa, FL that offers training to elite athletes. Fichter's clients have included pro hockey players Chris Thorburn (Winnipeg Jets), Stanley Cup champion Brian Gionta (Buffalo Sabres), Ryan Callahan (Tampa Bay Lightning, US Olympic Team), Shane Prince (Binghamton Senators), Olympic track and field star Victoriya Rybalko from the Ukraine, NY Yankee shortstop Cito Culver, UFC fighter Mike Massenzio, Oakland A’s 2nd baseman Andy Parrino, Washington Nationals Infielder Chris Bostick along with Washington Nationals pitcher Brian Dupra. Dan has coached athletes in all sports from all over the country.  Dan is in two different Halls of Fame for his own athletic prowess in football.
 
As a high school coach Dan’s resume is quite impressive.
 
Head Track and Field Coach Irondequoit High School- lost one dual meet (head to head) and won 6 Section V Championships in 8 years as being a head coach.  Multiple coach of the year awards.
 
As Irondequoit’s Head Football Coach he took a winless team in 2012 and rebuilt them to a state semi-finalist and Section V championship in two years of being named the head coach.

Nick has worked side by side with Owner Dan Fichter for about 10 years now, his athletic ability speaks for itself with the record setting numbers he has at WannaGetFast. Vertical jump of over 42", Broad Jump over 10' and a 40 yard dash time in the low 4.4 seconds. Also, weighs in at 180lbs and he has recorded a bench press mark of 27 reps at 225lbs.

Nick went to High School at Webster Thomas where he played Varsity football for 5 years and holds almost all of their Wide Receiver records along with 2 New York State records. He was the Wide Receiver for our other Performance Coach, Joe Zaccardo, for 4 years at Webster where they led their team to multiple Sectional titles and a State championship appearance. After High School, Nick attended Edinboro University where he recieved a scholarship to play football. During his time at Edinboro, he played slot receiver and helped his team reach 2 NCAA playoff appearances. After college, he was invited to several pro tryouts. Nick's experience gives him the ability to help athletes reach the next level.

Chris Amico: Performance Coach

Chris graduated from Irondequoit High School in 2003, he played Football, Wrestled and played Baseball as well. Chris is the longest running member of the WGF team, he holds the record for most reps on the bench press at 225lbs of 40+ reps. He played football at Edinboro University where he was a 2-time All American.  

Chris' tremendous knowledge of our training philosophy and attention to detail ensures that all of our athletes get the very most out of every session.

 

 

 

 

 


Luch Pietropaolo: Performance Coach

Luch trained at WannaGetFast for 7 years before officially joining the team as a performance coach. Before playing football at St. John Fisher College, he was All- Greater Rochester running back at Aquinas Institute and helped lead his team to their 8th consecutive sectional championship and 2 state titles.

WannaGetFast is a better place with Luch here, his understanding of our philosophy and how the human body works makes him a very important asset to our team.

 

 

 

 


Dan Hurlimann: Performance Coach                                                                                                                                                                                                  

Danny Graduated from Hilton high school in 2010 where he was a two sport athlete in hockey and baseball and an AGR baseball player his senior year. This giving him the opportunity to play Division I baseball at Youngstown State University as an infielder and outfielder. After his sophomore year, he then went on to finish his baseball career at SUNY Brockport where he became a first team all SUNYAC Selection and an ECAC All-Star, hitting a SUNYAC leading 7 home runs and a batting average of .323
